On Saturday, March 2, 2019, our new CONTEMPLATIVE MONASTERY “St. Joseph” was inaugurated in FUSHE-KRUJE (TIRANA), thus becoming now the third monastery of all Albania.

The Mass of inauguration was presided by the Archbishop of the Diocese of Tirana-Durazzo Mons. George Frendo and concelebrated by the Apostolic Nuncio Mons. Charles J. Brown, Fr. Sergio Perez and Fr. Calero missionaries of the IVE in Kallmet, Albania, and by other diocesan priests and religious of the country.

Also present for the occasion were our General Superior, Mother María Corredentora, and our Provincial Superior of Italy-Albania-Greece, Mother Maria de Jesús Doliente along with other missionary Servidoras in Albania and Italy.

The new Monastic Community has the intention of praying for the Holy Mother Church.

The new Monastic Community includes the following sisters:

– Mother Mariam al Bishara (Argentina)

– Sister Maria Këshilli and Mirë (Albanian)

– Sister Maria Chroi Iosa (American)

– Sister Maria de la Humildad (Argentina)

– Sister Maria Makaria (Argentina)
