On Sunday, January, 26th, the novice, Maria Upendo wa Kristu (Mary Love of Christ) received the holy habit. The participation of all the faithful to enhance the liturgy was noted in the decorating of the altar, songs, flowers...They were amazed for the first time of such a beautiful ceremony.
Happy New Year! As we celebrate the beginning of this new year, the Church calls us all to prayer.
First, we honor Our Lady on this Solemnity of Mary Mother of God, asking her to lead us ever closer to her Son this year that we may learn to become His true disciples by imitating her fidelity to grace.
“In order to achieve greater perfection in our service to God and His people, we take three vows…in order to more closely imitate the chastity, poverty, and obedience of the Incarnate Word.” (Constitutions, 6)
